360 leader development processes often fail to provide real value to leaders. they are based on standardized competency models and don't necessarily reflect the current context for the leader. This can result in a feeling of 'lack of relevance' and commitment to any development suggested.  

The 360 and development planning process has been designed to enhance participant value and engagement from others in a position to support the leader's development. 

It does not assume a 'one size fits all' competency model. The process enables the development conversations to better reflect;

     1. the participant's own aspirations and reflections,
     2. those of others with good 'line of sight' on the participant, and
     3. the leadership context including current and emerging challenges.
